Vegetable Tanned Belly

It is made on cow bellies of the highest quality of french origin and it is 100% vegetable tanned according to the old recipe of our Tannery, in order to give elasticity and richness to the leather.

The tanning method using natural tannin extracts from Quebracho and Mimosa trees give a good firm structure to the leather and good elasticity.

This item burnishes perfectly and it is easy to be worked with hand and machine sew.

Vacchetta has got firm tempered and with beautiful colours.

Vacchetta is smooth, full grain, fattening is made with Sego, according to the old recipe of our Tannery, and other natural made oils in order to give elasticity and richness to the leather.

This is the famous “Vacchetta” leather, the most authentic leather produced in Tuscany for many years.

This item burnishes perfectly and it is easy to be worked with hand and machine sew.

Vacchetta will develop a nice and rich patina over time and use, which is typical of a natural vegetable tanned leather.

Vacchetta is suitable for all kinds of leather goods, small leather goods and sandals.

Vacchetta can be either smooth or slightly milled.

The size of bellies is 9,5/11Sqft, we use only the best French cow origin.

The thickness of bellies is from 1,2/1,4mm to 1,8/2mm.
