Vegetable Tanned Belly

It is made on cow bellies of the highest quality of french origin and it is 100% vegetable tanned according to the old recipe of our Tannery, in order to give elasticity and richness to the leather.

The tanning method using natural tannin extracts from Quebracho and Mimosa trees give a good firm structure to the leather and good elasticity.

This item burnishes perfectly and it is easy to be worked with hand and machine sew.

Invecchiato is undyed as it is finished by hand, with a tamponatura two-tones, vintage effect and then sprayed with beautiful and bright aniline colours that show transparency and natural look to the leather.

This is the famous “Tamponato” leather, the most authentic leather made in Tuscany since many years.

It is suitable for all kinds of leather goods and small leather goods.

The size of bellies is 9,5/11Sqft, we use only the best French cow origin.

The thickness of bellies is from 1,2/1,4mm to 1,8/2mm.
